With free Wi-Fi throughout and private parking on site, this guest house has a peaceful reading room and a breakfast room overlooking Bunratty village. Shannon Airport is only 10 minutes’ drive away.

everything was as expected great room and bed and breakfast was lovely. Joe was chatty and easy to talk to a really nice guy. Have no reason to complain and would have no problem staying again. The cost was as it should be reasonable in this day and age really not out to screw people like most places.

Ballycannon Lodge is family-run accommodation offering guests a friendly, homely and comfortable atmosphere, modern surroundings and reasonably priced accommodation.

we have stayed only for a night, booked maybe 40 minutes before arriving, late in the evening. Check in was fast, lady at the reception met us and told us everything we needed to know. The room itself was big and comfortable, bed was good, we had a peaceful sleep. Also, tiny detail but I really liked it - when we went to our room, I understood that I didn’t have a Wi-Fi password, so I went back to the reception, and it was already there, written carefully on a piece of paper <3

It's student accommodation that runs as a hostel/hotel in summer. Basic enough room (single bed, sink in room, shared bathrooms) but clean. About a 20-minute walk from city centre. Great value compared with other hotels the night I stayed. There is a kitchen and fridge space if needed. Breakfast available but didn't try it.

The house is situated in a quiet estate a bit away from the city centre, the room was so comfortable and nice. Naveen is the best host, he got out of his way to pick me up in the city when there was a disruption with the buses and even drove me back the next day as it was raining.

It was just perfect for us 3 girls and the dogs. Beautiful quaint Irish cottage that was so charming with the most glorious gardens. The hosts Brian and his wife were on hand if needed but didn’t interfere at all and just let us get on with things … only in the next property if we wanted anything or responded to messages promptly. Couldn’t fault anything about the cottage, its location and just the overall experience was perfect - and if they’ll have us….. we’ll happily be back 🥰

Staffs were extremely friendly and welcoming. Hotel itself was quaint and charming. Having a pub inside the hotel was an added bonus. Overall good food and drinks. Very close to the University (20min). Right next to the bus stop that takes you to the city center.

This is a beautiful home, tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. The host is charming, considerate and a great conversationalist. It is ideally located within walking distance of the city centre. Breakfast was delicious - an amazing fresh fruit salad, hot croissants and great coffee. There's also a beautiful dog in the house and it was lovely to meet and play with him.
