The location was perfect. I expected to find a little kitchen very minimal. There was no coffee I bought it and left there.

Everything was very good. but especially the easy communication with the staff (in this case a daughter and father) was just so great. They paid attention and they showed a love for their lodge and the surrounding area that was contagious and memorable.

Check in was easy. The room was nice and clean and even had a smart tv to unwind. Breakfast was nice and easy and the home made brown bread was really good too.

Everything was lovely--the room, the host, and the location. Breakfast was delicious every morning, and Michael was super helpful in giving us food recommendations. Plus, Michael's dog, Juno, was a delight to play with and incredibly friendly. I'd travel to Sligo just to stay here again.

Our host was friendly and warm on our arrival. She has gone over and above to help us settle in and let us feel loved and welcome. The rooms are spacious with lovely big windows to enjoy the countryside and garden. The property has a lovely view of the rolling hills and mountains. Peace and Tranquility is medicine for the tired and weary soul and body. It is close to Sligo and Strandhill beach if you fancy a walk on the beach or go for a swim or maybe some surfing. Then there is the lovely Glencar Waterfall with a coffee shop if you fancy a cup of coffee or a bite to eat after the walk to the waterfall. i will highly recommend Peace and Tranquility when visiting Sligo.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Great location with beautiful views and accommodation. Great hosts who are very accommodating and friendly. Scones on arrival was a nice touch, breakfast items were provided which was also a nice touch.
- lovely and cosy house
- great location, close to Sligo and nearby attractions
- great host, very friendly, gave great recommendations and prompt responses
It was great that there were items left in the fridge and cupboard (including tea/coffee and milk) as well as fresh fruit. The location was beautiful. It was so peaceful and quiet. It was very easy to get to all the beautiful places we wanted to visit in Sligo and Mayo. There were plenty of tourist flyers and tourist books available in the apartment.
Our host was exceptionally helpful and friendly.
Great location. New Appliances. Great location. Room to spread out. Great location. Responsive host. Full kitchen. Bedrooms were spaced out within the unit - no shared walls. Quiet street. Did I mention the great location!
I booked last minute while on the road and this place was available.
Cheapest place in town from what i saw.
Great stay.
Riverside view was beautiful.
Great sleep - curtains kept a lot of light out!
Quiet, couldn't hear any cars nor other people.
Staff were great, breakfast was good, and the bar is a handy touch.
Great location too.

Beautiful freshly cooked breakfast, delightful hosts, nothing was a problem, thank you!
