The property was situated in a peaceful, convenient location in Waterville, a short walk down to the quaint village and beautiful beach. Our room was very comfortable and very clean. The hosts, Alan and Margaret are super friendly and informative. Alan made the best breakfast and provided endless coffee and tea. Their Seafood restaurant serves excellent dinner meals, as well. The Wi-fi was always available with a strong signal.

Gorgeously groomed, so pleasing and so sweet. Sitting room was so inviting, and Irma’s tea with cake was so welcoming and warming. Irma herself was delightful. We loved her, and would like to bring her home with us to be our new friend. The rooms were comfy and the breakfast was so delicious. I’m gluten-free and felt SO well cared for (yummiest GF scone ever!).

Phil was warm and welcoming. We had plenty of space to spread out and make ourselves at home. We loved the well-stocked kitchenette. The bed, pillows, and comforter were all very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and spacious.

This property does not exist, there was no one there and the windows were covered with paper.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Great location in the heart of Sneem, close to water and very quiet. Well equipped house with parking and spotlessly clean. Christina, the local contact, was superb in all respects and incredibly helpful.
Everything.
Location is spot on. Quite close to centre, but remote enough to enjoy peace and quiet in the nature.
Comfortable, clean & quiet room.
Lovely breakfast. Friendly and polite hosts. Big recommend if you are in Sneem area.
A lovely quiet location. On site parking. Comfortable room and bed. Hosts Trish and Chris we're very welcoming and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was amazing with plenty to choose from. I would recommend.
A nice and quiet location, lovely views of the river, possible to walk to the village and to the starting points for some lovely walks. Our host was also very helpful with the booking.
We stayed for 5 days at the Álaind Lodges in the mid of February and our stay was perfect.
The Lodge was beautiful, as well as the rooms. Everything was very clean.
We loved the breakfast as we had everyday fresh fruits, cereals, yogurt and freshly made typical Irish breakfast.
The hosts were very lovely and gave us a lot of amazing tips to explore sneem and the surrounding area.
Thank you for making this trip so special to us! We can highly recommend this bed and breakfast, also for longer stays.
Fergal was a great host. Quiet location but within walking distance of Sneem. Room was large and very comfortable.
