Situated 47 km from Kilkenny Castle, 49 km from Kilkenny Railway Station and 1 km from Templemore Golf Club, Codladh Sámh features accommodation located in Templemore.

The room, the bathroom, everything was finished to the highest standards. The bed was very comfortable which is always a plus in my eyes. The blinds are electric so you just need to push a button to bring them down and up. The window opens a fraction for some air. The shower was really good, with a double head.Steph was in touch to see if I needed anything and she contacted to say there was some music next door which should finish soon, it wasn't an issue for me but if you had kids you may want to request a room on the other side. There's a fridge under the counter which is a major bonus, I brought overnight oats with me and got milk as I don't like the uht milk.

Very nice building, the room was clean and well organized. The hotel is just in the city center, it's easy to park around but there could be some cost.

The host's welcome, assistance and guidance on how to increase the enjoyment of our stay was exceptional. A good location in a non-touristy town to explore tourist (and non-tourist) attractions. Parking easy.

My companion and I had a lovely stay at Oakdale templemore. Tony, our host is helpful, attentive and charming. Having the possibility to use the kitchen is a real plus, and the offered tea and coffee were a nice gesture. The guesthouse is super clean, and the beds were comfortable. We hope to return.

Modern, clean and extremely comfortable. Everything has been considered here to make our stay as nice as possible..room has everything you need. Lovely welcome card from the hosts, magazine/book, food recommendations etc as well as fridge/kettle/iron/tv. Located on the main street yet calm and very quiet inside. Shops/pubs/cafes with a minutes walk. Would highly recommend.

The hotel is a beautiful building, very homey and what you'd imagine for a home-style Irish rural property. Rooms very extremely warm despite the cold weather, I even had to turn off the radiators. Shower in my room was extremely power and relaxing. The staff were chatty and helpful and great hosts. Kettle station was packed to the brim with teabags and coffee. Restaurant and bar staff were very attentive and friendly.
