I had a very nice one day stay. The host, Mr. Biswajit Sarmah is very hospitable and helpful. Room is spacious, neat and clean and comfortable, equipped with kitchenette including fridge, microwave, gas stove, water purifier, etc. Wifi worked well. There's an air conditioner, which I didn't need as weather was pleasant in March. There's also a sit out where I enjoyed having a cup of tea surrounded by greenery. Breakfast was tasty and substantial. The homestay is located in a quiet and peaceful area, yet just a 5-7 minute walk from the main road.

    Far better than my previous booking in Jorhat named (best homestay) very worst service on that homestay. I stayed in the Munin guesthouse for the very 1st time but felt at home and the owner and his place were very cool.

    Cleanliness. Spacious room. All amenities are provided. Kitchen has cooking stove, gas, RO, chimney, toaster, kettle, cutlery and dishes. Complimentary breakfast is homemade and is really healthy and made with love by the hosts who are really warm and kind hearted. Absolutely no complaints in my two nights stay. Totally recommended.

    We stayed here twice and had fun both times. The hosts are really lovely and eager to help out with getting to Majuli island. The downstairs room was big and comfy. We also stayed in the traditional room on top of the building which was a fun experience but a bit less comfy - some doves came into the room early in the morning which was a funny way to wake up but perhaps not ideal! The food was the best part of the stay - cheap and really really good, maybe the best we had in Assam.

    The guest house is very beautiful and the host were very nice people. The dining area provides a cozy place for family and friends to enjoy home-cooked meals together! The rooms are clean and comfortable. Also the location is at a central distance from most of the places we wanted to visit in Jorhat.
