A Bit old fashioned hotel with limited facilities and very reasonable price with, Airconditioner, attached bathroom and geyser. Though a little far away from city centre. Location is very peaceful and quiet. Good connectivity to all parts of the city. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay there and definitely will visit again.

The host was very kind and helpful, the place is quiet and well located (10 min from the train station and the temple). Room was good, wifi was overall great. There are plenty of restaurants around.

Mani’s residency is in a great location near the train station and bus stop. The hosts are friendly and helpful, and the room itself was very comfortable with excellent AC.

This property is great value for money - rooms are spacious and clean, the staff and in particular the manager went out of their way to assist us during our stay. The hotel is also very quiet, as it is located away from the city centre and main areas of interest for visitors/tourists. The breakfast was really good. The hotel is located near Appam and Hoppers, a really good Sri Lankan cuisine restaurant.

Stayed 3 nights in February. (Previously stayed 1 night in Madurai north of river near Lake Vandiyur but it was a long way from the city centre.) Check-in OK. Room with usual facilities: fan, hot water, TV. Bed comfortable. Room and sheets seemed clean. Old lift operating. Well located for main temple, restaurants, shops and railway. Fairly quiet on upper floor. Good view of temple from rooftop, if you ignore the mobile phone towers.

This boutique hotel was located in a quiet safe location reasonably close to the Meenakshi Amman temple. Management was very helpful and attentive. All of the staff responded to every request promptly . Breakfast was delicious and varied and the restaurant itself was convenient and of good quality. Rooms were really cleaned, maintained daily and beds were comfortable. Extremely fair exchange rate on foreign currency. I would recommend this hotel and book again Very pleased.

Quiet location, excellent restaurant, comfortable bed. The decor is quirky which includes lots of carved wooden fixtures in Tamil style. The staff are attentive and charming. The pool is wonderful in the 30 degree heat.
