Breakfast was substandard. Not on time and had to argue about whatever they said would be available the previous night. No butter with bread and no coffee even. They told us at 8 pm that we should place our dinner order before 9.30pm but we wanted to place our order they say there would be no dinner because the cook was absent. We had to shout at them to get our services.

    Shillong Hills is at a lovely location and offers a great view from the front yard. The staff was very friendly and George was amazing as a host. From getting a faulty heater replaced instantly to providing us with excellent help and support in getting our car fixed - late evening this was, I might add, and he came to meet us and guide us all the way into the city where we were stuck - he was just unbelievable as a host. We will definitely be staying at Shillong Hills guest house again, soon.
