United StatesRight away I felt like a family guest! As luck had it, a small temple celebration was planned for the next morning and I was invited. It was very special, something I would not be able to experience in a hotel. I also appreciated how Raja gave me great suggestions about sights to visit, both locally and for future weeks.
The food was excellent! Rama is a wonderful host and such a great cook. She even showed me how to make my favorite dish. Thank you Rama!

Very close to the bus stand and the Big temple. The staff were very courteous. There was a locker in the room for keeping the valuables. There was also a mini fridge. A pretty spacious room. The accommodation is very tastefully furnished, the bed is very comfortable, the room had both a fan and AC and a warm water shower. I had the best night's sleep since we arrived in India. The owner, Usha, was a lovely and helpful hostess and Rama's cooking was excellent. I wish we had known Usha also had a homestay in Trichy (Tranquility)... We liked the unusual decor of the hotel with quiet spaces to relax on the first and second floor. The staff were very helpful and the room was clean.
