Helena was an excellent host. We felt very cared for and were extremely grateful for the opportunity to have a late check out on the day we were leaving. Thank you Helena.

We absolutely loved it here, but it’s not for everyone. This old haveli is being developed, and this is the only finished room. It’s large and comfortable, with the best shower room we’ve had in India so far (halfway through six week trip). The host, Randhir, was superb - polite, friendly, intelligent and so helpful, and his vision for the haveli … well, we look forward to seeing it when it’s complete. It’s in a very central location, easy walking distance to Lake Pichola and many shops and restaurants, so obviously there is street noise, but that didn’t bother us. When the gates are closed, access to the property is through a little half gate in the main gate - could be an issue for some people. Tasty vegetarian breakfasts too.
Ideally located in the Hiran Magri district of Udaipur, Hotel lasani Inn is set 4.4 km from Udaipur Railway Station, 4.8 km from Lake Pichola and 6.4 km from Jagdish temple.

Nukkad has all of the facilities for a comfortable stay but what makes it special is the beautiful, traditional decor of the interior - so pretty. Even more special is that it's a family home, housing several generations, and they all provide a warm, friendly welcome, offering help whenever needed; I was helped to renew my prepaid phone plan, which saved me a lot of hassle and was greatly appreciated.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Great location on on the lake. The area is nice and quiet, good for a walk.
The breakfast is very good, with fresh fruit and eggs on order, the terrace view is beautiful. The staff is nice even if not everyone speaks English. The rooms are clean.
Comfortable beds, Great location 1 min walk to Gangaur Ghat and most of other attractions are near by. Avinash is a great host. It's newly opened and improving.
Fantastic hotel: the interior design, the view from the room, the view from the rooftop - a-ma-zing! The best sunset! Complimentary chai in the afternoon on the rooftop. Tasty breakfast! Very nice staff. Quick and cheap laundry service. Great location in the city center - everything in the walking distance. If we are back in Udaipur, we will definetely stay here again.
This little bed and breakfast is a gem! Located right by the lake, the views are beautiful. Being slightly away from the city center and set back down a tiny residential alleyway also means it is peaceful and quiet. The rooms are cosy and well equipped and has everything you need. Lovely, Jitu and Manish were just the best hosts and you will never leave the breakfast table hungry.
Really great hostel, lovely rooms, really nice rooftop restaurant and courtyard cafe - staff are all knowledge, friendly and all speak really good English. It’s also on the quieter side of Udaipur. Three of us stayed for 3 nights – brilliant, loved it, highly recommend!
Jitu and Lovely were great hosts, I can’t recommend them enough. The breakfast was really good and plentiful. The location is great. The view from the room was fantastic. Nice and quiet at night, we slept well. Really enjoyed our stay.
Shivika and her family are great hosts. They did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable (we had to leave early on the last day and they accepted to serve us an early breakfast).
It's actually a guest house located out of the city, but they can arrange transportation for a cheap price.
The house is beautiful and everything was great. We booked suites with a lake view and it was stunning.
