A good location for a relaxing holiday in Kjósahreppur, Hvammsvík Nature Resort is a guest house surrounded by views of the mountain.

Everything was fantastic. We stayed in the Clubhouse. Stunning views, lovely kitchen to cook a delicious dinner. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and welcoming. The springs were magical and the restaurant (seafood soup!!) was delicious. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, we had the northern lights on New Year’s Eve. Thank you for a wonderful visit. Trip of a lifetime!

We loved the farm guesthouse. It is on a lovely farm property and we enjoyed watching the sheep on the property while we ate our meals and talked about our adventures. The hosts were absolutely lovely and showed us around the farm and shared some of the history of the area. The location was perfect to stay before and after exploring the Snaefellsnes Peninsula. Would definitely recommend!

Lina is a great host. She helped us out when we didn't know how we should continue our trip due to severe weather conditions. Her experience was super helpful. We ended up staying an extra night which we loved because her apartment is lovely and extremely clean. Everything looks brand new and the kitchen has everything you might need. We can highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back.

Mile could not have been a nicer host! Her home was clean, and she graciously offered coffee, tea, and delicious treats in the morning. The property is within walking distance of a few great restaurants, and very quiet at night. I'd definitely recommend staying at Helgugata!

Somehow I thought it is going to be cute boutique hotel, but this is just a hostel in an old building. Couldn’t stay there, so we left. It was my fault I didn’t read description good enough, so I can’t rate them too bad

This homestay was pleasant and had alot of character. Our room was charming and suitable for our needs. The common areas were also charming and clean. The bathrooms were clean and had hot showers with a very good pressure. Behind the guesthouse are nice views and a walking path. The restaurant we did not visit but it looked very busy for the dinner guests! The price was fair.

We loved our stay. It was so nice to receive a real, genuine welcome after staying in lots of self check in places. The views from every window were incredible. The room was clean and a good size. The unexpected breakfast was a lovely experience. The guesthouse is situated in a great location and we will make a point of returning when we next in Iceland.
