United StatesMy family of five, including two 8yr olds and a 5yr old, stayed in the 3BR apartment in August 2024. Note that it is in a separate house, not the one shown in the pictures but nearby. It was very comfortable with a full and functional kitchen. Holmavik is relatively small, so it is near Cafe Riis, the Museum of Witchcraft and Sorcery, and the harbor where you can go on a whalewatching tour with Laki Tours (much less busy than Husavik). Definitely recommend for a larger group with kids.

CanadaThe location was beautiful right on the water, the beds were comfortable and there was a decent amount of space in the room for three of us. Breakfast was good with many options, the lady at the front desk was pleasant. We got to see the northern lights which was amazing!

The staff were extremely friendly. We had read the buffet dinner was good and were glad we decided to go for it. Adjacent to the harbour (Whale tours with Lakitours). Very small and friendly (about 8 rooms) with a nice breakfast. Cafe area and a sun terrace on the 1st floor overlooking the bay (saw Whales in the bay from here). One of our two rooms was with shared bathroom (with 3 other rooms) but this was fine - very clean.
