There is a campground adjacent to the guesthouse, and campers had a bathroom with an entrance right next to the entrance of the guesthouse. The owner facilitated a late-ish checkin (about 8 pm)

United StatesWe enjoyed this farm house! It was a homely lodging with a cute sitting room and heirloom art, cross-stitching, and furniture throughout. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots, and utensils for cooking. The beds (all singles or twins) were very comfortable, and the farm was very scenic. Overall it was a cozy change from the more modern and minimalist guesthouses that we stayed at for the majority of our trip.

A real Icelandic experience which I am so happy to have experienced. The host was very welcoming and friendly and told me a lot about sheep farming in Iceland. Host Eva is very kind, she generously shared some cooking oil with us for our dinner. The location of this guesthouse is perfect for road trip on route 711. We loved that there were utensils available and a coffee machine with reusable ceramic cups. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was extremely spacious with towels included. Our host provided us a very nice modern kitchen with everything needed and there is a lot of space to sit and eat. The guesthouse had 7 rooms and 2 bathrooms which was convenient. There is a big and well equipped kitchen which we could use and a living room/play area for kids. The place was very quiet and clean. We really like this gesthause, for its originality and wonderful host. The guesthouse is at the end of the fjord with a wonderful view. A real Icelandic climate in the middle of the nature and sheep.
