CroatiaOne of the best accommodations in Iceland, which I would recommend to everyone if they find themselves in this area. You have everything you need - a well-equipped kitchen, cleand bathroom, bedroom and living area. Mr. Baldur was a wonderful host and we had a nice conversation. His wife made very tasty homemade cakes.

The restaurant had a long menu that included veg lasagna, burgers, soup etc. I had a veg burger that was made with potatos, beans, mushrooms. My husband had lamb steak. We were shown around the stables and were able to stroke the horses and find out more about icelandic farming. There is also an added bonus of the neediest cat ever to stroke and a very playful dog! Room was spacious and very clean, shared bathroom as well. A lot of information about local history and display of some artefacts. You could tell that the owners have put their heart into it. As it is part of a farmhouse (the hosts live upstairs and the guests stay downstairs) there are only three rooms to rent. This means you have a lot of privacy, peace and quiet.
