United StatesMelar is an amazing guesthouse! We stayed in the studio suite, and it was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped with a coffee maker, oven, stovetop, dishwasher, etc. The hot tub was an added bonus! The bathroom was roomy and the bed was very comfortable. The decor was somewhat eclectic but it fit the historic house perfectly! Communication with the host was excellent and check-in was easy. The location is quite remote, but this area of Iceland is definitely worth visiting!
