Vogahraun 4, a property with a garden, is located in Myvatn, 5.8 km from Myvatn Nature Baths.

The room was comfy, warm and perfectly located. It's next to Dimmuborgir and 7 minutes away from the Myvatn Nature Baths, so I didn't use the shower in the room. It was self-checking - easy peasy! It's Icelandic tradition to leave your shoes outside so a show rack and show horn are provided outside each room :)

Set in Laugar in the North Iceland region, Laugar Guesthouse features a balcony. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the guest house free of charge.

One of the best accommodations in Iceland, which I would recommend to everyone if they find themselves in this area. You have everything you need - a well-equipped kitchen, cleand bathroom, bedroom and living area. Mr. Baldur was a wonderful host and we had a nice conversation. His wife made very tasty homemade cakes.

Great breakfast included in our stay, rooms were clean and comfortable. It feels more like a hostel instead of a guesthouse, but we definitely recommend this place.

The room was average and unfortunately was not the room we booked (was meant to have a desk in it). The guesthouse had an unusual smell but overall it was clean. Great location and the receptionist was lovely.

The host was very friendly, the house was a dream and the breakfast was delicious. Also, the views were breathtaking. You can tell they care and they are proud of their guesthouse and farm. It was a pleasure being there!

We absolutely loved staying here. The guesthouse is lovely, the kitchen is huge and room was basic but still felt very cosy. We saw the northern lights perfectly, what a great location! There was also 2 farm dogs running around, who were so friendly and cute! The free breakfast in the morning was amazing as well. This is probably our favourite guest stay in Iceland! Highly recommend!

Lovely Hotel. Would stay here for the buffet alone! But also - wonderful picture windows if you are lucky enough to see the northern lights, great location with views of natural craters and lots of birdlife. Perfect spot for walking and taking in the view. Staff were very helpful. Free tea and coffee whenever you need it. Great breakfast and dinner buffet options and all in all a very charming hotel with lots of personality. Elevator was a bonus as we were travelling with my elderly mother.

Great location at the Myvatn Lake side but still quiet at night, very comfortable beds and bedsheets, great breakfast selection. Free coffee in the lobby, pool table, hot tub and sauna outside. Heating very strong and immediate warmth in the room after switching on. Bus groups hotel stopover for the night, but not disturbing.

great location at the lake Myvatn, very comfy and quiet rooms with floor heating, great restaurant with delicious dishes (dill cured arctic char, beef burger, lamb shank) and nice beer/alcohol selection, cow farm where you can pet the cows and see the farmers milking them through the windows.
