The perfect place to stay for those who like convenience and simplicity on their travels.

Very disappointed as the room look so old. And the bed is very hard, very difficult to sleep. And the breakfast is at the other hotel with walking distance. The breakfast we need to make ourself and my friend told me need to get eggs from staff but we call, no staff attend. Only the view or surroundings of hotel is good.

A good location for a hassle-free holiday in Hallormsstaður, Mjóanes accommodation is a guest house surrounded by views of the lake.

Loved this place and our host. Added bonus of a sauna and a hottub and some delicious homemade icelandic bread. Perfect stop over when travelling the ring road and only 5 minutes from the majestic Hengifoss. I do hope life brings us this way again.

We enjoyed our stay here. The bathrooms were clean, modern, and comfortable. The house had a historical feel to it. It was a rather loud house, since it's a wood building, but we were not bothered by any noise during our stay. THe staff was helpful and reachable, and accommodated our late check-in. We enjoyed our stay here! The little town was charming!

Lots of room. Great location in the town. We enjoyed our stay here. The children liked meeting the cat and playing in the snow. Thank you.

Nice, quiet place. We had the whole ground floor to ourselves. Bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, living room, bathroom. The owners live on the first floor, but we could barely hear them. Very good value for money.

It was the cheapest option around the area when I booked it. Breakfast was included but you have to walk to another hotel to get it. There is a shared mini fridge and free coffee. The guesthouse was clean when we arrived.

The best was the location in a beautiful fjord. Hostel located in the city center, close to shops and restaurant. Very easy to head there, you can park your car close to the apartment.

Exterior may get you suspicious, but the rooms were very clean and overall very nice. Beds are comfortable. Hosts also hold a restaurant and are very friendly. Although the rooms are basically on the road, neighborhood is very quiet and we got a good night's sleep. You can park your car in front of your room which is always a plus.

Room was quiet, parking was convenient, and kitchen allowed for self-catering. Bedding other than pillow was comfortable, and guesthouse had wifi. Room came with one towel per bed. Kitchen included lots of recycling options.
