Reynir was exactly what we needed whilst exploring the south coast, easy and clean and right in the middle of everything we wanted to visit.
Kitchen facilities are excellent and showers and warm, good pressure and clean.

Beds were fine, each bed had a night lamp. Also good views of the Vik church. Sharing the bathrooms was fine now, as it was not too busy. The host was friendly. First thing he told us was to take off shoes. Location was allright.

Vik is small. Place is nice but maybe bit noisy until 12 pm.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
The location was great. The guesthouse is very close to the "Black Sand Beach", and the views from our bedroom as well from the dining room were fantastic. The place has good cooking facilities for those interested in preparing their won meals.
Very clean, great kitchen facilities and lovely bright eating area with lovely views.
Had a lovely chat to Begga our host who gave some good recommendations of places to go 😊
This was the most amazing hostels I have ever stayed in! Most surreal experience staying here. The communal area was beautiful with big windows onto the mountains and snow that surrounded it. Perfect for northern light watching. The facilities were great and it had such a homely feel to it.
The owner was also so so friendly and came immediately when i had an inquiry about the rooms. Amazing location as it’s just outside Vik and 3minute drive away from the famous black sand beach.
I would highly recommend staying here.
We were super happy to stay at Reynir guesthouse. Very cozy, kitchen and lounge room with all facilities and amenities. Clean, warm and well-located. Lovely views. The hostess is a local and is always there. She's adorable. I highly recommend this place. I would definetely go there again if I happen to visit Iceland in the future.
