United StatesHelga and Dagur were wonderful! Our room in their guesthouse was spotless and comfortable. Helga gave us spot-on advice about winter hiking options and the best places to see the northern lights, which we were able to see for the first time on our trip. Dagur even got staff to open the Herring Museum (closed in winter) for us and accompanied us there. We hope to return again sometime.

Lovely rooms and great facilities including the outdoor hot pool and sauna. This visit we paid a bit extra for a room facing the harbour but have also stayed in the rooms facing inland and the fishing boat which are equally good. Prices are not cheap but worth it.
