The location was perfect - It’s right on the way to all the best things along the south coast - only 12 mins from Selfoss, it was so quiet at night, super great place to see the stars or northern lights (from the very cozy hot tub on the patio), the greenhouse garden is to die for and the owners were AMAZING and SO lovely to chat to.
I wish I could’ve stayed longer.

That said - this property is a dormitory plus - nothing more....at least provide coffee, some choice in bedding, the abiltiy to have a queen (Vs 2 singles) & more than one pillow.

The common rooms and the kitchen were clean and had everything you need for a stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. Sometimes the hostel owner organizes cultural events, when we slept there we were lucky to listen to a Canadian songwriter.
