I am a returning visitor in Grasteinn Guesthouse, I enjoyed it 2 years ago.. I enjoyed it now so I knew what to expect. If I ever go to the same region in Iceland I will stay in Grasteinn Guesthouse.

The guesthouse is truly beautiful, modern, clean, cosy, well-equipped and in a nice and quiet place in the very north of Iceland. There is a well-equipped kitchen with a coffee machine and a terrace and self-service breakfast in the morning.

Hildur and Siggi were great hosts. The house was warmly decorated and room was comfortable. Toiletries exceeded expectation as shampoo, conditioner and shower gel were provided. Most Icelandic hotels provided shampoo/body wash (2 in 1 type). Breakfast was good with homemade bread. Enjoyed Ljón's (cat) company and the dogs were so friendly and fun. We had a great experience to visit the sheep barn as well.
