We were collected from the airport and arrived 15 minutes later. You entered our suite to a small foyer that had two doors off it, the bathroom and bedroom. The bed was king sized and I awoke after a great night's sleep without the aches and pains of long distance travel (at 75 there are a lot of those). Villa Rosita sits next to a Soccer Club that boasts a bar with drinks, sandwiches, pizza and snack food. A 10 minute stroll away is a supermarket and, in the other direction a market and more eating places. A map showing all of these is supplied on check in. We dined at al Monte Trattoria, five minutes walk away, and thoroughly enjoyed good Italian food. Breakfast included had all you could ask for and was self serve. I could not have asked for more!

The guest house was excellent overall. The staff was very welcoming, and the room and bathroom were exceptionally clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, and housekeeping was done daily, which exceeded my expectations. The facilities in the unit were more than sufficient for the duration of our stay. Additionally, the owner provided a complimentary Italian breakfast, which was also beyond our expectations.

The room was nicely decorated simple but the service is what creates the experience so will not stay there again recommend staying more in Lido di Ostia hotel.
