Incredible place and incredibly kind host! Super responsive and clearly passionate about Bergamo - will share all the best places with you - both to eat at and to visit. Place itself was just wonderful - clean, homey, warm, nicely decorated, well equipped. There's a good, well priced pizza place literally downstairs - and other restaurants as well in close proximity. Carrefour as well. Old city can be reached in like 20 min tops and walking Bergamo even outside its beautiful Old Town is pure joy still. Hope to find Rial Maison available next time I am in Bergamo!

The place is right in the centre of the very busy main street of Città Alta. However, once you step through the main gate into the internal courtyard, all is peaceful! Our room had views over trees to the back. The rooms share a common area where you can have the use of a small fridge for drinks, a coffee machine, cakes , croissants, and all the things for a simple Italian breakfast. All nicely arranged. The bedroom was large and comfortable. Access was through keypads, and the owner was available, helpful, and always responded promptly when contacted via WhatsApp. The suggested parking Città Alta was very good, so you can avoid driving on the narrow medieval lanes. Its pedestrian exit is a few minutes walk away from the front door.

The location is ideal: it's close to the center yet nestled in a peaceful, green neighborhood with a convenient bus stop nearby. The hostess is incredibly warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home.
