This is one of the most beautifully appointed little apartments I’ve ever seen, in a spectacular setting. Julie was wonderfully welcoming, as was everyone we met in Barga. What a gem this place is! I especially love how it blends the old and new.

Anne Maria was so kind to let me book a stay last minute after my train got cancelled and I was stranded in Barga. She was very helpful, attentive, and respectful. When I left the next morning she even drove me to my train. Hopefully I can stay for longer next time!

If you are a nature lover this is a place not to miss as it offers not only forest covered hills but also beautiful beaches at a short driving distance. If you are lucky, you will see foxes and squirls , and you can enjoy you breakfast near the current that passes next to the house. The room is simple, but cozy and clean, and Gianluca is the perfect host who makes you feel at home immediately. We had a good time.
