Located in one of my favorite areas in Italy. Treiso. Anna was fabulous. Let us store our wine and cheese in her fridge. Anna’s English was slight but she knew what we wanted.

Let’s be clear, it is not near Barbaresco (50 min walk) and there is no “degustazione” (yes, when you ask for it they just say, and I’m not kidding: there is no degustazione).
So yeah, the place is clean, but nothing else. So if you want to just sleep under a roof there is plenty of better options.
What I hated is that when I called the woman in charge she did not care. So yeah, this is what I call a fraud. They put key words and attractions that are not included or real, all that to benefit from seeming a very attractive option.
Shame

This B&B is a gem. It is located near the "Strada Romantica delle Langhe e del Roero"; you are in a famous wine area (Asti, Barolo, Barbareco, etc). Photo: the Enoteca Regionale del Barbaresco.
Host Davide was most helpful with information about the area and of course: wine (he is sommelier). Especially his unvarnished opinion about the Arneis wine (which comes from the Alba area) will stick in my memory :-)
We also liked his breakfast with 'crespelle' (crepes)!
Being city people from a very dense populated country, we can soooooo enjoy the evening silence.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Quiet comfort with spectacular views. The rooms were very clean, modern and the pool is fabulous nestled within hazelnut fields. It's very close to Alba and lots of sightseeing, all within 15 minutes. This is a strategic base for foodies. The owner and her mother were lovely and did everything to accommodate our every need, even providing ad-hoc snacks when requested by the children. Thank you!
Very helpful and forthcoming staff starting off with a reception staff member personally guiding us through the various spaces of the hotel - restaurant, pointing out the spa area access and hours, showing us our rooms. Spa area lovely including heated outdoor pool – a definite plus seeing as the air was still rather coolish. The quietness and spaciousness of VA were also appriciated by us. And there is a little center of Manera is a 5 minute walk away where there are 2 other restaurant options should one chose not to eat at the Hotel.
The location was perfect for exploring the charming wine villages and Alba. The staff was wonderful and attentive in all areas. The surroundings are great with beautiful countryside views from the pool and the restaurant. A perfect break!
So delighted we've stayed here. We liked everything about this new place, from the very warm welcome to the very generous breakfast. The rooms are modern, spacious and equipped with all facilities. The area is so peaceful and with breathtaking views of the scenic Langhe hills. Michi is a great host and we will certainly return.
