La Casa Rosa is situated within nature. However, it is a rather tricky drive to reach, more so if one is not a confident driver. The swimming pool and garden are great, however their use appear to be limited. Signs in the house tell that these do not come with the payment of the accommodation. You better check, though we had no problems. Mariapaola is approachable and helpful when available (at breakfast time, or dinner/s if you have booked these).

We loved everything. The room is simple but comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. The croissants were the best we have had on our travels. The B and B is spotlessly clean and Elizabetta is a wonderful host, helping us with directions etc. it’s also just a short walk to catch the train to explore the Cinque Terre.

Calm and restful location, impeccable cleanliness, pleasant room, fridge, kettle, etc. huge terrace. Fantastic host: he informed us about Cinque Terre: where to park free, all villages in details, we liked especially his ratings of the places!:) On the last day breakfast on our request was served earlier, as we had to reach the ferry in Livorno.
