Perfect comfortable place in a nice little town. LARA our hostess went beyond nice and friend to provide us with all the information needed. She recommended we’re to eat and how to plan our visit around this area of Portofino etc . The bathroom was also very comfy. The only thing I would relace were the Pillows… a little too hard. But we would definitely go BACK as we felt it was all very clean, well thought and made us feel so at home and welcomed and in a GREAT place .

We loved this spot! The location couldn't have been better - it took us 2 min to walk to the main waterfront. The terrace was amazing and the views from all of the windows were unbeatable.

Federick, the host made this stay exceptional. He greeted us with homemade sangria and offered assistance with our bags. He provided information not just on places to eat but also how to see and do all there is in Santa Margherita. His recommendations were spot on. On our last day we awoke to fresh squeezed juice from his trees and advice on our next stay. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. We were offered a free room upgrade. Having local insight can definitely make a stay memorable and for this we thank Federick and recommend his guest home to others.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa 1900. The property is clean, modern and well staffed. The breakfast was excellent. The property is located perfectly so that you can walk everywhere. We received great suggestions for our visit from Dante.

This property is STUNNING! This is by far the BEST place we have stayed in during our 3 week and 7 country driving trip! Barbara and her family are wonderful hosts! They welcomed us with open arms. And, her very tasty homemade focaccia bread and coffee. And, they all speak excellent English! The view is absolutely incredible!!!!! AND, they only allow one booking for the night!!! So, you get the view, and the pool, and the little house all to yourself! We spent the day and evening, relaxing in the lawn chairs looking at the beautiful view. Seriously, it is so pretty! The accommodation is also very clean, nice, well stocked and very comfortable. We had a hard time getting up the next morning, because we slept so well. Breakfast the next morning was very tasty! Barbara made us a very flavorful omelette. She also provided yogurt, cheese, pastries, and her yummy homemade focaccia bread. She even packed some up for us to take with us. And, she enclosed garage was a nice treat as well. We feel absolutely blessed to have been their last guests for the season. We’re already making plans for our return trip next spring! TIP, after you make the booking, Barbara will send you a photograph of their parking garage. Has your driving up the hill, watch for the garage to be on your left and look exactly like the picture.

The location of the property was great, although a little difficult to find by GPS - it's right at the corner, just a block away from the sea. Everything was within walking distance, and although it was mid-February (not high season), we were able to find places that were open. The town itself is beautiful and well-kept, and we'd like to visit again when we have more time. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and we slept well. The room is in an older building and not soundproofed - in the high season, it would be advisable to bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. The room provides a small kitchen area with an electric kettle, a single-burner hotplate, a small refrigerator, and a sink. There are dishes and a few pots and pans, so you could feasibly prepare your own simple one-pot meals and/or stay for an extended time. The room was quite large, and tiled throughout, with a wardrobe, and a small dinette set in addition to the bed. Communication with the owner was clear and although we never met her, she was able to provide good instructions on how to enter the room, and paying for the room was easily done by Paypal or cash. She offers a parking spot (by reservation) for 10 euros - and this is recommended, although we didn't take advantage of it (a live-and-learn situation). There is also a large parking garage about 2 blocks away, for 2 euros per hour, and limited street parking.

The house is very clean, it is in a nice building first floor few steps down. Modern style has full kitchen with washer for your clothes ( and portable cloth drying rack). The house was equipped with everything you need from towels to comfy beds and clean bedding, closets...etc. But my absolute favorite thing about it was its location as it is walking distance from the beautiful genoa Marina where there are plenty of beautiful restaurants with water front ( on the Mediterranean). Supermarket walking distance as well. We had a great stay there, especially since Anna was so nice and responsive and lives in the same building with family that we met super nice people. Thank you, Anna. I am hoping to see you guys again in the future 👍🫶🙏 Highly recommend this apartment 👌
