Villa Cua is in a cool old building, conveniently located to public transit. It was comfortable and clean. Despite being located on a fairly busy street, we slept well thanks to the good quality windows and doors. The hosts were professional and very responsive.

High up the hill so great views over the water. Lovely sunsets. Decently close to the train station. Quiet at night so easy to get a good nights sleep.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Giuliani was a great host and gave us all the information we needed. The free parking is in a fenced lot about a block away, across from the fruit stand that owns the parking lot. Everything was very nice and easy to access. It is a beautiful apartment. The bedroom, bathroom, and living/kitchen area were all wonderful. The BnB Eracle is in a great location for visiting Herculaneum, Pompeii, and Mt. Vesuvius.
The hostel is indeed charming - however i've been to better hippiestyle hostels in the canarian islands. good place to meet likeminded down-to-earth people. surprisingly much to do in the area. I recommend the botanical garden, the saltwater poolclub just next door (18 euro entrance though), the LARGE vintage market in ercolano, Gaaarden bar ( a little far away but an amazing outside bar), barberia by Massimo (good cheap barbershop). very local area - not many turists. go here for a different experience in the Napoli area.
We loved the property's history and charm - magical! The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The staff was super attentive, friendly, informative, and great hosts. Thank you, Valentina, Maria (?), and Theresa for taking such good care of us.
There is a fantastic Michelin Guide restaurant almost across the street under the same ownership - a MUST try - we loved it!
The Herculaneum ruins are a short walk from the hotel (as was a pretty good pizzeria - great location.
Great location between Pompei and Napoli. Lovely local spot with nice park, coast, church and university square. Great hosts who are nice and flexible.
Ancient old buildings that has been renovated to create tasteful, spacious rooms hosted by absolutely charming staff. Lovely terrace for breakfast overlooking the sea. Great location for Ercolano.
It was really quiet and safe place. The view was gorgeous and also the hosts were up to the task.
Marco and his father were great hosts, they give us tipps and they recommend us what should we visit, and specially where to eat or to park our car, and this was really nice. The place was very clean and we didn't miss anything.
We loved the pets(little cat & dog) , they were cute and lovely, specially the cat!
Great location when travelling by car to avoid the traffic and parking chaos of Naples - and very close to Pompeii. The train station (Ercolano Scavi) is a 10-15 minute walk. The parking is secure behind a locked fence. The location seems somewhat shady just beyond the highway overpass, but it's remarkably quiet and we walked back from the station twice in the dark without feeling uneasy. The room is spacious with a very comfy bed. The host Alfonso (if I remember correctly) is extremely kind and helpful!
