An authentic experience of staying in a several centuries old house. Andrea, the owner is very polite and full of tips where to go and what to see. The house has its own parking.
The position is very suitable if you have a car. Village Faedis is well placed to move around (Udine only 15km away, Trieste less then 90km)

We were able to coordinate an early check-in. It was close to the central historic district but since the weather was really cold we still had to drive & use public parking in the Centro. Breakfast was abundant and very good.

Country-quiet but close to Udine and other places. Everything is clean and working perfectly. Very good beds! A made-to-order delicious breakfast. Above all, Romina, the owner, with her help and advice and her personality.

The wonderful young man running the small hotel went above and beyond to help us figure out how to bus through a few towns. He was so patient with my friend and I. He deserves a raise

We had lovely view from the balcony and quite environment.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Beautiful location on the edge of a village but surrounded by fields and vineyards. Comfortable rooms with the bonus of a shared kitchen theat guests can make use of if they don’t want to eat out. Added bonus was a fridge full of local wine to try. Andrea, the host was incredibly friendly and a mine of local information, from where to visit to finding the best route to get there. Breakfast in the garden was a highlight. Only wish we could have stayed longer.
Fantastic! If you are looking for authentic Italian with heavenly bike rides and a truly chill but also gorgeous getaway than this is it! Andrea is a stand out welcoming host with has a true passion for the local history and architecture that will leave you falling in love with the area and his home just that little bit more.
Everything: from the beautifully decorated and very comfortable room to the abundant breakfast with local products. Most of all, though, we loved Andrea, an extremely attentive host who has a keen eye for detail and likes to share numerous fantastic tips about what to do and where to eat in the region.
Fantastic old house with extremely beautiful garden (and a small stream flowing through it). The antique furniture, stylish decorations and traditional spaces make the place very atmospheric. We absolutely loved the balcony and the well-equipped kitchen. We also spent a lot of time in the garden.
The hosts are friendly and easy- going. Communication with them was quick and easy.
- very friendly host, lot of hints were given (what to see, restaurants, what to do by bad wheather conditions, ...)
- everything is available in this village (supermarket, bars, bakery, ...)
- Loretta, our host, decided to change our booked appartment when she was informed that our friends will visit and spend few days with us (minimal acceptable extra costs for these days)
- nice wellness area (unfortunately we couldn't really use due to wheater conditions during our stay)
- lockable room for our bicycles
It was enjoyable to stay in this old traditional property, a good base for visiting an interesting area which included Udine. We had an apartment on the second floor with a balcony. We found the bed, though old, very comfortable and appreciated the period furniture. The kitchen had an ultra modern induction hob and a kettle. Our host was friendly and welcoming and facilitated early entry. There was a supermarket in the nearby village. There was a comfortable common lounge area which guests could use. There was parking on-site.
A cozy, quiet place with a beautiful view, where it is definitely worth spending a few days. The hosts are very nice. Everything clean, fragrant, good breakfast. Recommended.
The place is located at the quiet edge of the town overlooking the hills, has a lovely garden and inner court which is very relaxing to stay at. It is fully refurbished with all facilities you might need and has a great atmosphere due to the small gadgets placed here and there. The breakfast is great and Andrea is a fantastic host whose recommendations helped a lot when deciding our daily itineraries.
