Very comfortable one night stay. Only slight detour from Via Francigena - there are very few affordable places in La Storta. Grocery store close by. Shared bathroom, living room and kitchen; all very clean, modern, spacious and well appointed. We did not see the other guests. Great coffee maker and free coffee. Hosts are friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Good communication before and after stay.

    Wonder place, amazing hosts. We spent here only one night on our way from Rome to Florence, and everything pas perfect. When we arrived they greeted us with fresh fruits! The room had AC, and we were also supplied with bug repellents (much need around this time of year). All in all - great stay, amazing hosts.

    Mirella was a very welcoming great host and the facilities are excellent. My bicycle was secure for the night. Breakfast was excellent and she sent me off with a snack for my ride. Thank you!

    Utterly charming, delightful place to stay in the heart of what must surely be one of the most exquisite of tiny ancient hamlets on the outskirts of Rome. The hosts are of a character to complement perfectly their house and its surroundings - generous, beautiful manners and immensely hospitable. This is a jewel of a place in every regard.

    Great hosts, clean room and bathroom and a great breakfast. I had to go to Rome for a day and stayed here as an alternative the day before, so I drove my car and stoped at formello to stay the afternoon and night with my girlfriend the night before, knowing that we were just 30 minutes away from Rome the next day. Would love to go back, I would recommend la scaletta to anyone.

    Quiet and quaint place with great location in stunning old town. Good communication with hosts and easy check in with offer of drinks/coffee on arrival. Clean, comfortable, good wifi and nice breakfast. We were very happy and can highly recommend the accommodation run by lovely Tiziana and her husband.
