On foot it is not so comfortable. The apartment is well equipped (kitchen, bathroom, hygiene products; even the fridge had water and juice, and some delicious sweets). You have all the privacy you have at home. Each room has its own washing machine. The host was very helpful and nice. Lovely coffee shop just opposite, and there's a few pizzerias dotted around nearby. Supermarket is very convenient. The host was wonderful. Loved using the kitchen, there were plenty of utensils, and the outdoor sitting area was lovely as well. The hosts were so friendly, and made sure we weren't lost by coming to meet us. Formia is a charming little town, with a delightful labyrinth of alleys in the old part. It made an excellent staging post for us, travelling from the south to the north by train, because the railway comes back to the sea here before making its way inland again.
