the location was absolutely perfect. We could bus into the main town of Forio Porto if we wanted to, but there were plenty of restaurants and shops had we chosen to stay within the vicinity of the B&B the entire trip. We found a wonderful Lido that we went to 3 times, and the small piazza at the bottom of the hill was perfect for coffee, lunch and gelato.

This beautiful hotel is newly renovated and everything is super clean and modern! Rooms are modernly furnished and have good quality windows and comfortable bed. Bathroom is new and shower is amazing. Location is in Ischia Ponte, close to restaurants, shops and an 8 min walk from the castle! The bus stops at the foot of the laneway to La Vigna. Daniella and her family provide a warm welcome, and ensured our stay was wonderful. Best highlight is the rooftop view - the sea and castle are visible, as well as gardens. If desired you can sunbathe on the rooftop, or the Ischia beach is a 10 min walk. Small supermarket is about 5 min walk, and there is a bar fridge in the room. Daniella provides packaged breakfast muffin/cakes, and croissants, as well as a fancy Nescafé machine for all guests that makes espresso, cappuccino, coffee - amazing!

We had a lovely stay at Il Fungo B&B. It is in a great location next to a supermarket, many shops and restaurants, and ~5 min walk from multiple bus stops. The area comes alive at night with music and all the shops stayed open late, but it didn't impact the stay at all (removed just enough to not be noisy). Riccardo met us at check-in and was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. While the room is on the smaller side, it was just what we needed for our short stay in Ischia.
