Such a great choice for Mantua! Smack in the middle of the city, we woke up to a market on the square downstairs. Lovely breakfast package, everything was delicious. Staff was super kind.

we appreciated the beautiful entrance of the building, the maintenance, the cleanliness of the building and the room, the splendid bathroom, and the spaciousness of the room

A hotel, or strictly speaking, a homestay (like an air B&B), is located in a centuries old Italian Renaissance palace. This hotel only has 6 guest rooms open to the public, the rest are for the exclusive use of the palace owner. The hotel is conveniently located next to the central square, surrounded by famous historical landmarks. The hotel rooms are very spacious and tall, with clean and comfortable beds. The breakfast restaurant is located on the square, serving a typical Italian breakfast with Cappuccino and Corinne. Although it's a bit simple, enjoying an Italian style breakfast in the sunshine is also very pleasant and enjoyable. Butler part-time waiter and boss part-time waiter are both very friendly and hospitable.
Situated just 11 km from Mantua Cathedral, casa TRE19 provides accommodation in Mantova with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as private check-in and check-out.
A Casa dei Gonzaga is a wonderfully restored 18th-century villa located conveniently near to the train and bus stations and just a 10-minute walk into Mantua town centre.

A few steps from the station so that's quite convenient.
Mattress and pillows were kind of alright.
The vibe impressed me as I didn't imagine to find a Spanish style courtyard, I liked it.
Also they gave us a proper welcome, with a small tour, thank you!
Located next to Mantova Train Station, Antico Residence B&B offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi.

A lot of (very pleasant!) space, everything very clean, 2 bottles of water in the fridge and - of course - the location in front of the railway station and a very kind and helpful personnel
Ca' Tazzoli is located in central Mantua and offers a continental-style breakfast and is 100 metres from the Ducal Palace and a 10-minute walk from the train station.

Instructions (address) on on-line booking were incorrect. Parking was not available as suggested. Room is minimalistic which can be ok BUT not functional; there is an air condition unit for which you don't have a controller. You can't even control the heat and you must contact the concierge; through change the setting, but it does not work well and can't call every half hour!!! To make things worse there are no blocking curtains/blinds so you are annoyed by the outside lights and get woken up early by sunshine!!!
Set in Mantova, 500 metres from Rotonda di San Lorenzo, Residenza Bibiena offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and express check-in and check-out.

Amazing location next to Duke's Palace and central Mantova, generous breakfast, wonderful room.
The reception staff was so helpful and kind, and recommended the restaurant next door which was excellent, and clearly popular with the locals (always a good sign, not touristy). It was so close to the Duke's Palace that I could go back to my room for a rest in just 5 min.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Great location in quiet street but also in the middle of the city center. Everything was clean and handy. Air conditioning worked perfectly as everything else - wifi, tv, fridge,… Owner Daniele gave us all the info and we felt welcomed and safe. Access with codes (without keys) is excellent solution. I recommend this apartment and Mantua in general is great place to visit.
Great location: within easy walking distance from the main sights while located in a quiet residential street.
The host Andrea is friendly, very responsive and helpful.
The beautifully decorated apartment with genuine antique furniture and art works instantly transport you into a period drama! Quite a thrill for travellers who are fascinated with history and culture! Meanwhile, the place is spotlessly clean.
It was the best place I have ever booked in Italy. Great host who waited for us with the keys and gave all the necessary tips, excellent contact. Great location - quiet, opposite a large parking lot and a short walk to the center. The apartment is super clean. The kitchen was well-equipped and we had various drinks and sweets at our disposal, which was a nice surprise. We regret that we were there only one night, but if we ever come to this city, we will definitely choose this place
Apartment spacious for two people, comfortable and situated right next to the city centre, though very quiet. We arrived late due to traffic and our host, Eilsa, had been waiting for an hour, but she met us all smiles. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Lovely apartment. Well equipped kitchen. Spotlessly clean. Great location. Charming helpful host. Generous breakfast items for self made breakfast. Welcome and parting gifts. Just great and far better than staying in a hotel.
Great communication with the host, and easy check in. Huge, beautiful apartment. Great location close to the city centre and the station, on a quiet, pretty street. Had a fantastic time thank you.
Good hotel in a great location, immediately next to the pedestrian area in the town centre. Friendly and helpful staff. The decor and the facilities in the hotel are a bit dated, which also has a certain charm. Breakfast is OK, not great. You can get in front of the hotel by car to drop off the luggage, but parking is a few minutes walk away (it is cheap, though). Rooms are quiet at night.
Host was very welcoming, charming, helpful and extremely well organised. Kitchen was spacious and well equipped (although a toaster and kettle would have been handy). Lots of storage space for our belongings/clothes. Nice building with lift access to room. Great location - right in the centre but quiet too.
