We were in town to do some genealogy research, and the location of this property was perfect! The walk into town to visit the commune was less than 10 minutes. Our room (including the private bathroom) was very clean, spacious, and nicely appointed. Our host, Anna, was friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Breakfast was always ready when we woke up. We enjoyed her friendly dogs, who were always there to greet us. It was exceptionally nice to chat with her father when we met him during our comings and goings from the house. A longer chat with Anna after checkout was very pleasant. She is a warm and generous host. We would definitely stay here again.

Central location. Easy walk around Montella. Close to Bagnoli Irpino. The rooms were new and so clean. The owners designed an awesome place to stay. Shower was big. They had a central space for gathering outside of the rooms with kitchen, tables and chairs. This property is a hidden gem in the charming town of Montella. The property owners, Lucia and Albino were the “icing on the cake”! They went above and beyond in making our stay perfect. They made reservations for us at a fantastic restaurant. We don’t speak Italian. They also took the effort to help us find relatives in a nearby town, by getting us a guide that could converse in English and Italian. Perfect hosts!

It was quiet. They have a lovely garden area. The air conditioning worked well for us. It is nostalgic for me because I am from this town and my grandparents lived here in this particular part of the town. The owners are sweet and accommodating. Although we did not use it, there is a fully equipped kitchen with snacks and drinks at our disposal.

The owner Francesca was very nice and obviously put a lot of time and details into her beautiful rooms. Our room had beautiful panoramic view of mountains. Clean comfortable room with quality bed and bedding. Bathroom was the best. She provided many extras like a five star hotel. She wanted to make sure you had a pleasant stay. It was close to the winery Feudi di San Gregorio!
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
The bedrooms and living room were very roomy. The outside patio by the kitchen was lovely. The kitchen had a very large table that was very comfortable. The location of Horse House was near Centro, and we loved walking around! The breakfast on Sunday morning was paid by Horse House at a bistro a 15 minute walk away (1.1km). The croissant and coffee/juice was exceptional! On Monday the bistro was closed, so the host left store-bought items for us all. The home seems newly built and is in extremely good condition.
