We stayed one night at Il Monocolo - Affitti Brevi whilst walking the Magna via Francigena. It was a spacious, charming apartment in a small lively village. Bedding was extremely comfortable. Particularly appreciated the enduringly hot shower after a sodden afternoon on the trail.

The apartment was located right in the middle of the village. It was refurbished to a very high standard. Francesca was a generous host. Left delicious crostata and biscuits which were devoured by hungry walkers. A first rate experience!

Perfect place to rest when walking the MVF. Everything was perfect. Our host invited us for dinner, as we arrived in town during Easter and everything else was closed. We were very grateful to enjoy such a lovely Sicilian meal in great company. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness.
