Not only did he provide a free pick-up/drop-off service to the airport, but he also kindly brought me by car to the nearest bus stop to catch the bus to the city centre of Reggio, and picked me up when I returned. Particularly liked that the host lived on site too which meant everyone was respectful it was lovely and quiet unlike other places we stayed during our trip. Great location near the town centre and there’s an escalator pavement to get you up 90% of the hill!! Husband appreciated the lift up the second floor too. Both rooms were spacious and clean with firm, comfortable beds. Our second room didn't have a sea view, but the property has an amazing view from the rooftop terrace. The self-service breakfast was simple and convenient. Bus stop outside for transfer to city centre. The apartment was very spacious, which was perfect for travelling with small children and charmingly decorated, with an authentic rustic Italian decor, typical of that particular area. The host Michele was the kindest person ever! He was wonderful, helpful and he even gave us a lift back to the airport! The room is brand new and the bed is very comfortable (two pillows!) The B&B is located in a quiet block of flats, just a few steps from the city centre. My room was clean, quiet and spacious and looked out onto the lovely decorated garden area The breakfast was varied , fresh and abundant. Awesome position, 2 minutes walking from the Duomo, and 10 minutes from the Lungomare (seafront promenade). Angelo is a great host, super friendly and very supportive with local tips and suggestions.
