Wirnica is an experience. The whole stay was a magnificent and true experience. We have visited many countries with my wife, many places, many hotels, resorts, properties etc. This is definitely on our top 10 list ever. The staff were all great people and extremely accommodating, from Massimo to Guia and the lovely ladies providing our kid with toys, they were all fantastic. This is essentially a manor dating back hundreds of years with its beauty still intact. The gardens are massive and magnificent, a feast for the eyes. If you are using a car then the place is a hidden gem and just a short drive from the main villages that attract massive crowds, so perfect to avoid all that. All in all this was an unforgettable experience and we loved every second of it. We truly plan to visit again in the near future. A big thank you Wirnica team, Guia and Massimo!

A newly renovated and modernised guesthouse, next to the church, with big warm comfortable rooms. Central heating. Big shared kitchen. Everything spotlessly clean. Excellent location for exploring the foothills of the Bergamasque Prealps. I stayed there overnight coming from Bergamo and continuing to Lecco and Como. Very quiet and peaceful in the winter.

Hotel Villa Maria left a very pleasant impression. First and foremost, I’d like to highlight the cozy atmosphere that creates a feeling of home-like warmth. The rooms are spacious, clean, and modernly equipped, with comfortable furniture and high-quality bedding. A nice bonus was the availability of all the necessary details – from toiletries to tea and coffee in the room. The hotel’s location is ideal: close to all major attractions, yet quiet and peaceful. The staff deserves special praise – very attentive, friendly, and ready to assist with any request. What stood out the most was the cuisine: the breakfasts were diverse and delicious, featuring fresh local ingredients. Villa Maria is a great choice for a romantic getaway, as well as for family or business trips. I wholeheartedly recommend it and will definitely return here again!
