A complimentary bottle of wine was offered to share with some friends whom we were meeting up with. He gave very good recommendations for restaurants and a boat cruise around San Nicola Arcella. We loved our stay and will definitely try to return and see more of that part of Italy. We particularly appreciated the fully equipped kitchen and the large balcony. The location is perfect - 5 mins walk from the train, 10mins from the beach, close to shops and a few restaurants, and in a relatively quiet neighborhood. But the best thing was the politeness and sense of humanity of the hosts. My train had a 40 minutes delay and I also missed my stop.
