The courtyard is beautiful and we spent our mornings reading in the sun under the orange trees. The B&B is right in the centre of Tricase. Our rooms were extremely clean and had everything we needed, even a little kitchenette to make tea or coffee. Chiara is a great host and was always available if we needed anything. The location is as good as any to use as a base for touring all parts of the Salento. I particularly liked nearby Tricase Porto for swimming and chilling, and we found very good options for dining within short driving distances in the evenings. The courtyard and the BBQ space are fabulous places to have a sundowner before setting off into town. The highlights were the breakfast — freshly baked cakes, yoghurt, and local fruits — and Laila, the hostess, who was so helpful. I don’t know how I would have managed the trip without Laila!
