I had stayed here 8 years ago and wanted to come back. The hotel is owned by brewery Baladin, and was completely renovated by their founder, genius Teo Musso. The rooms are beautiful and each has their own decor. It's right across the street from their first brewery/bar, which is still working. Every Sunday Teo speaks about his journey and does a brewery tour of the new grounds down the street. Highly recommend it! Plus, this area is right next to Barolo, which has some of the best wines in Italy. Another nice town to visit nearby is Alba, which has a 3-star Michelin restaurant (Piazza Duomo) and a bistrot from the same owners, Piola.

The host was incredibly nice and very helpful. The room did exceed my expectations for a quick stopover. I could use the parking area in front of the building where I could park my motorcycle free of charge. There was no cover to protect it from the elements, but it was protected from view from the road. For dinner, there's a pizzeria within walking distance. Guests can use the kitchen and a shared living room area. The bed was large and very comfortable, not too hard, not too soft. All in all it was a great stay!
