The hospitality and generosity of Jay's family and staff is unique in every standard. Their knowledge of the area and its history is a real gift. The balcony adjacent to the room is the real gem; I could have spent days and days just sitting there, eating, reading my book, staring at the sky and mountains. it is the perfect spot from which to set off to climb the blue mountains. Lamar, the guide, was patient, kind and caring. Take warm clothes, mostly a coat - as it gets really cold at the peak.

The place is awesome, they treated us like family, served us the best food we tried in Jamaica and showed us the real essence of the country. It was a bit complicated to get there but they helped us any time and it turned out to be one of the best experiences of our trip.
