Guest House Tokiwa offers dorm beds and affordable Japanese-style private rooms, free WiFi, a shared lounge and a shared kitchen. Located in Fujinomiya City, the closest town to Mt.

Super comfortable, cozy, clean, cute property, in a great location right next to a station with trains and buses. The owner is fantastic and most days can take guests on a trip, depending on the season (lake view of Fuji, shiraito falls, etc). And his dog is super cute! Private room was very comfortable and spacious, and had a glimpse of Fuji from the window (if it isn’t cloudy). Overall, great place to stay and in a great town with views of Fuji all over.

We upgraded to the private twin room, and were pleasantly surprised to wake up to views of Mount Fuji!!! The accommodations were very clean, spacious and had everything one might need. The front desk staff also helped us book a taxi which was greatly appreciated!

NASUBI Mt. Fuji Backpackers in Fuji provides accommodations with a garden and a shared lounge.

We stayed a night at Nasubi before visiting Mt. Fuji. We arrived late into Haneda and drove to the property. The host was very accommodating and was prompt with communication. The room was comfy and the shared bathroom was very clean with cute Totoro decorations. Parking was only extra 500 yen, making our trip very convenient. The host went out of his way to help us with our cash situation. Don't expect luxury but it was a very comfy stay and what we needed.

Lovely guest house, everything was clean and comfortable. Great location. Host was very friendly and helpful and we loved having Daruma-kun running around 🐶 definitely recommend. Children should be a bit older though as not to disturb other guests, it's an old Japanese house so keep an eye on noise and limited space.

Excellent hostel. Great location, 8 mins from stations, from here you can get to anywhere easily. In centre of the town of nice coffee shops, 7/11’s etc. fab view of Mount Fuji. Staff lovely but little to no English. Exceptionally clean, showers great. Bed space good having really high ceiling. Although beds in one big room, layout good so no problem. I didn’t find it noisy. Microwave only for heating food. Hot water available for drinks 24/7

This is a quaint and quirky little guesthouse. It is an old traditional Japanese house. We loved sleeping on the mats on the floor. Daisuke-san was knowledgeable and helpful, friendly and welcoming. CEO Daruma patrols the house and loves a good scratch and cuddle.

This is one of the best hostels that I have ever stayed in. The common room in the women's dorm is well set out for people to eat, relax, recover from the day. The bathroom facilities were spotless. The dorm is set up to be very quiet. It was brilliant!
