The hostess is a real gem. She helped me with a medical issue and found quick care nearby. Our apartment was nicely appointed with everything we needed. She provided daily sweet cakes as a nice surprise. Super comfy bedding with duvets when it gets chilly. Short walk to the train station and Mt Fuji temple. Her home has a long history of taking in pilgrims on their way to hike Mt Fuji. Running stream through the yard. Old stone markers. Quaint. I'd gladly stay here again if we are in the area.

We had such a wonderful stay at Link House! It's a beautiful property with a great host. Yumiko was very welcoming and kind, gave great recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed.
The house is also in walking distance from some very nice sights.
We can highly recommend to stay here.
A bonus was that we woke up with views of Mt Fuji on our last day.
Thank you Yumiko for an unforgettable experience!

I love the place and the staff are very nice.
Our host even makes efforts to pick us up at the train station and made us feel comfortable even when it is snowing hard. The place is awesome too, our room overlooks Mt. Fuji. We also rented bicycles at a very reasonable price.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
More than just accommodation, this Inn is a true Japanese experience in itself; Perfectly located to enjoy Mount Fuji, the space is super comfy and quiet, perfect for a good rest. The traditional bath was an invigorating perk, and the cherry on top was our exceptionally kind hosts who, in addition to sharing the history of their family and the location, gave us precious advice for our Mount Fuji climb and our upcoming stay in Kyoto.
Old Japanese house in the middle of the countryside, so very quiet and soothing. Hiro was a great host, and the facilities are very comfortable and complete, with kitchen, lobby, bike rental, etc. Well situated and clean.
Friendly and helpful host Hiro, easy communication in English. The hostel is cozy and charming, home-made breakfast is very nice and the common area is pleasant to spend time in. The location is quiet and the guests in the hostel are understanding and respectful of each other.
One of my favourite stays during a month in Japan. Definitely more of a boutique guest house than a hostel. Beautiful design and very comfortable rooms. Lovely communal space with nice teas available and the sister cafe (where you have the breakfast) was a highlight of my entire trip ( I went 3 times in less than 24 hourse). Location was amazing and I LOVED Fujiyoshida as a little town. Would absolutely return and recommend to anyone looking to stay near Fuji.
Easy walk to Churieto Pagoda, recommend going for sunrise.
The staff was very welcoming and also gave us our room 4 hours before the check-in time. Fascinating traditional style. The guest house is run by a kindhearted family that makes you feel like you're at home. They also have rental bikes for a cheap price (500¥ half a day, 1000¥ full day) and it's super convenient if you want to explore the surroundings like Kawaguchiko or the famous pagoda that you can reach in 10/15 minutes by bike. The location itself is very quiet and it makes for a perfect escape from the city.
Excellent stay in fuji , great value for money. A very calm neighborhood. Host was very nice to pick up and drop us to nearby station. Fuji view from guest house was amazing. Definitely recommend to anyone who want to spend quality time. Many good restaurant within 1.5 kms. Can rent bicycle from the guesthouse for 500 yuan per day . Free for first 3 hours.
The location is great, it's quiet, and just a beautiful and old traditional Japanese guesthouse. The host was extremely polite and friendly, and gave me a tour of the history of the house and his family when I arrived, which I highly appreciated. The host also drove me to Kawaguchiko station when I left which was great.
Amazing host! Helpful and talkative. Herb tea was an amazing service, made me sleep so good! Super clean for a place, that is managed by one person! Easy to store food, and make morning coffee. Nice sofas on the lounge area. The place is not big and definitely is not made for loud partying people, the atmosphere is more charming and calming, which makes it enjoyable to stay quietly there.
