Everything was great except the chilly walk down the hall to the toilet at night. This was due to the freezing weather outside. This was an amazing bargain for the quality of the accommodations. It is in an easy location with a grocery store one block away, laundromat next door, the bus stop, 7-11 and taxi stand are only three blocks away. Short walk to the Hagi Museum and historical housing district. The young host is easily available!
萩ゲストハウスラビット is located in Hagi, just 1.4 miles from Hagi Station and 15 miles from Ojiyama Park. This guest house provides free private parking, luggage storage space, and free Wifi.

The owner is really nice. He drove us to the bus station at the end of our trip. The location is close to the cave and lots of hiking trails! The location was easy to find.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Beautiful, location. Quiet place with authentic environment in the middle of fisher's community. Close to main points of interest in the area. Very good facilities for family multi-day stay.
Lovely traditional Japanese house, the owner was lovely and the guest house has a really nice social atmosphere so it was interesting to meet lots of other guests. The bed was comfy and there was lots of space for luggage. Good location
Visiting Hagi was a last minute decision... so glad we did. Its a great little historic town off the usual tourist track.
Rabbit is an amazing host. She met us at the station, gave us a quick tour of town, made dinner reservations for us and then settled us in to the guest house. It is a house, not just a room, and is well equipped and comfortable. Well located for seeing the town.
Highly recommended.
The host was very friendly and open for chatting. Even though we came to Hagi before check in time, we were able to store luggage and check at the convenient time. The place was clean and spacious, we loved the interior design. It was a stay in a temple inn with all the basic amenities provided but naturally limited access to electronics. Besides, we’re glad we’ve tried the art of calligraphy with the host.
Located near the bus terminal, luggage can be stored near the bus terminal or the nearby gako/school museum if you arrive early like i did. Host is friendly and gave me multiple local pointers like restaurants. Bed is clean and comfortable , the rooms are also well insulated and warm. This guesthouse offers everything a traveler would need. There are also multiple eateries and convenience stores within walking distance and local attractions can be reached by foot.
Note to travelers: hagi loop busses do not show up on google map.
Extremely friendly, laid-back, and hospitable host family with lots of children running around the place, adding a very local atmosphere to the guesthouse. The guesthouse itself is located just a few minutes walk from a beach with a great view of the sunset. It's very easy to socialize with fellow guests and the host as well as almost all the rooms are interconnected, with people sitting in the common area most of the time.
