No frills, but clean, comfortable and a nice atmosphere to connect with other travelers. The owner was super helpful and continued to communicate with me even after we had left to make sure we had made all our connections. We upgraded to a private room, but the capsules seemed pretty good. The capsules/compartments seemed to be about 4X4X8 (feet) It might be bigger, but it was enough room to sleep and store your things. Perfect for our one night stay

Tommy was very welcoming. Comfortable accommodation. Sadly the cafe was closed and it was not easy to find places to eat. Tommy gave plenty of useful information. Free noodles helped.

The place is very clean, and the host is kind. The location is close to the bus station. Highly recommend.

The worst thing was the heating for the room. The temple provided an electric fan kerosene heater but we could not stand the smell and turned off despite of the night temperature dropped to 3C.

We appreciated the history of the house and the amazing food! Additionally, the hosts were extremely accommodating, providing a ride to places you wouldn’t get to see through the public transit and even providing a ride to the house when we failed to get there ourselves. We were also provided a tour of some of the highlights of the town and surroundings, as well as fireworks for the night.

Beautiful property and the host was amazing. He was so nice and gave amazing recommendations. He called a restaurant to make a reservation for which he recommended and it was one of the best yakiniku places we’ve been to. We also went out to a karaoke bar with him and we had a great time! It was a nice property but the host made the experience even better!

Highly recommended! Nori is an amazing host, super friendly and always willing to offer help (even if you don't ask for it). The place is super cozy and well equipped. I'd definitely choose hachihachi again without hesitation :)
