Guesthouse SETOUCHI LIFE, a property with a garden, is located in Kure, 6.5 km from Areikarasukojima Park, 6.6 km from Kushiyama Park, as well as 8.8 km from Kure Municipal Museum of Art.

This guest house is perfectly suited for those seeking company and eager to meet people. For example, shared breakfasts and evening meals were organised by the staff each day of my stay for those willing to join, the latter usually followed by discussion or games up to bedtime. I left this Japanese traditional house with the feeling to have shared a few days with old friends I hadn't met in a while.

Set within 400 metres of Kure Popolo Shopping Centre and less than 1 km of Kure Municipal Museum of Art, Red Submarine offers rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Kure.

The deco, design as a submarine. The complimentary Onsen downstairs is the selling factor. Won’t have that on a submarine for sure

Located on Miyajima (Itsukushima), Miyajima Guest House Mikuniya offers a Japanese-style accommodation and a small garden. Free Wi-Fi is available. Miyajima Ferry Terminal is a 20-minute walk away.

We loved the vibe of the place and how beautiful the house is! It is beautifully decorated and there are little details everywhere, which made it very attractive to look around. We even got a few ceramic glasses for a very good price from the little shop they had. We loved the common area, with a big glass window facing the beautiful garden, it felt very peaceful in the morning. The owners put effort into making it community-oriented, especially with the complimentary dinner (and breakfast). We interacted with other guests easily and had a nice chat with some of them. We even had a lovely chat with the owner, who was a fellow pilgrim from the Camino de Santiago :) Location was also great.

Set just 5.4 km from Ikejiri Children's Park, 88 House Hiroshima offers accommodation in Hiroshima with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen.

We had an excellent 3 night stay here! It's a beautiful big traditional Japanese house with the host living in a separate house next door. There are 3 rooms in the house so there is the potential to be sharing with other guests. Toilets, shower rooms and kitchen are shared. Our room was huge with futons, a table, and sliding doors that opened up to a view of the garden. It was lovely to be able to hear the river rushing by right beside the house, and cool to stay in a quiet little neighborhood. The #29 bus is very easy to catch to and from Hiroshima station and it runs super frequently, so it wasn't a problem being slightly out from the city centre. We had a very relaxed and peaceful stay here and would definitely come back again. Thank you to our wonderful and friendly host Kengo!

Situated in Miyajima, 2.5 km from Tsutsumigaura Beach and 400 metres from Five Storey Pagoda, HEM'S HOTEL 1日1組限定 new features spacious air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi.

It’s an amazing place. The room was comfortable, very clean and there was everything we needed. The owner is very helpful, capable and disposable. Moreover, breakfast was fantastic also for my husband, who had gluten free options. Perfect place if you’re looking for a true Japanese experience. Totally recommended, best place in Miyajima.

The host Rina is very kind, super helpful and has good restaurant recommendations! Charming old house has been converted into a hostel/bar and is full of character. I stayed in a private room, which was excellent and good value for money.

The hosts were amazing! Good English and they were patient with my attempts at Japanese as well. The rooms are in a separate building within a walking distance, but uphill. It was ok for me, but people with walking difficulties might not be able to make it. The bathroom in the separate building exceeded expectations. Cheap laundry options. The bathtub was large enough for a tall European to fit in completely. The view from up the hill was amazing. There's an onsen on the south part of the island that you can visit via bus.

The hostel was so beautiful and the staff is just amazing. In the evening they sometimes perform some music which was great. The atmosphere is very relaxed and social there and you will easyly meet people. You can rent there bikes for very cheap and go for a trip to the nearby islands what i really enjoyed. For me it was probably the best hostel i ever stayed in.

The place was comfy and compact Japanese style for our family. It was very clean and everything we need was there. The place was also very accessible to best tourist destination by walk. A nice restaurant nearby the place as well. All meets our expectation and the staff on duty was very warm and nice. She let our luggage left at the lobby while we were roaming around the city. The cost was cheaper compare to other neighborhood hotels. Thank you for this new experience of our family.

This place is very comfortable. It is quiet and the staff is friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. The staff informed us nicely about a wide range of things to do in the neighbourhood and gave us more background on the history of the city and the guesthouse. The guesthouse is well situated in a calm area with a few fun attractions such as a beach and sake brewery. But the hostel is fun on its own, as guests have space to work on their own art, cook a dinner for the guesthouse, read Japanese books or have fun conversations about the world.

An amazing location, loved the cottages. Out of season we had the place to ourselves, unit was spotlessly clean. Parking onsite which was safe and quiet, host was welcoming. Units are modern with good AC, wifi, cooking facilities and refrigerator. I particularly liked the traditional Japanese bath tub and shower, private terrace with an outstanding view
