The most friendly hosts we’ve ever had. Rich and super tasty home made dinner and breakfast. Comfortable futons. Space for parking (access is a bit limited to smaller cars I would say though). We are super thankful to the hosts for this experience.

Very nice owner who offered to pick us up at the train station if needed. The guesthouse is very friendly and the rooms are big.
It felt like living at a Japanese family house to be honest.

A modern and very clean hostel, not far from convenience store and restaurants, very friendly staff, comfortable beds with curtain for privacy, free tea and coffee available. In the early morning the owner drove me and another pilgrim to Fujidera, which saved us 45 min walking on this tough day!

I was very late because I had problems arriving, so I was coming at 1:30 at night instead of 21:00 the evening before. The owner still was very friendly and explained how to find everything. I recommend this place

Everything was perfect, very clean and very friendly host. But a fair warning for those who are doing the Shikoku-Pilgrimage for the first time: The lights might go on at 4:30 (no joke) and the pilgrims could be very loud to motivate themselves for the day. Keep that in mind :)

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Very nice lady. We used Google translate to communicate with her. The house is very nice ans the food was very good. The surroundings are very quiet, it is enjoyable to visit after being in big cities. But not too many thing to do in the direct neighbourhood.
Amazing hospitality, wonderful dinner and breakfast, very generous serving size - we struggled to finish everything! Many ingredients are sourced locally and from the farm. Exceptionally accommodating and friendly hosts. Futons are sumptuous.
