The common area is very nice and the beds were comfortable too. They had free coffee and tea too. The washing machine was very cheap but it took a lot to dry. We gained valuable insights into Japanese culture through our interactions with them. The traditional Japanese tatami room was very comfortable and had ample space for our luggage. It’s about 15 mins away from the main Nagano hustle and bustle but we had a car and didn’t mind a little bit of distance. It was nice and quiet. The hosts were very helpful and friendly, they also offered us a ride to the bus stop a couple of times and at the end of our stay to the nearby trainstation.
