It's a cute property and the owner is really friendly and helpful. The room was clean enough but sadly it's a very old house so the walls are paper thin and everything creeks a LOT. The toilets smelt awful the whole time and the bathrooms were quite gross with mould growing all over the windows. Common area and kitchen were a nice vibe.

We had an absolutely fantastic time at Wafu Guesthouse Kashiwaya's place! The house was exactly as described. It was clean, spacious, and with all the amenities we could possibly need. The location was perfect – close to public transportation, and local attractions. The best part, our room facing directly to Mt Fuji! Host was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Check-in was seamless and made us feel right at home. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and convenient place in the area. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

We had the best stay here! Yumiko was so welcoming and hospitable. She had everything we needed for our stay and even helped us with our itinerary as well as how to get to different locations in the city. The breakfast was delicious, the view from our room was stunning and we loved waking up and falling asleep to the view of Fuji. It was also so cool to stay in a traditional Japanese home and would definitely recommend it. Thank you Yumiko for such a lovely stay, we hope to visit again soon!
