The hostess is a real gem. She helped me with a medical issue and found quick care nearby. Our apartment was nicely appointed with everything we needed. She provided daily sweet cakes as a nice surprise. Super comfy bedding with duvets when it gets chilly. Short walk to the train station and Mt Fuji temple. Her home has a long history of taking in pilgrims on their way to hike Mt Fuji. Running stream through the yard. Old stone markers. Quaint. I'd gladly stay here again if we are in the area.

The hosts were so sweet, kind, and welcoming! They spoke very good English which was great since our Japanese is very limited. You can see Mt. Fuji very well! It was a cute little room that felt perfectly arranged to maximize the space and comfort. If you're going to Mt. Fuji you have to stay here!

Great stay in Fujikawaguchiko! The staff are very responsive both online and in person (you can call staff using a button within the accommodation). Our room was spacious and the futons were comfortable. I liked the shared bath (you can lock the doors for privacy), which has 2 showers, faucets in the middle that you can fill a bucket with (very hot and cold water), and a big bath with hot water. The price was also excellent given that we went in mid-November when the foliage was beautiful. We especially liked that we could rent bikes from the property- 2 regular (500 yen each) and 2 electric (2,000 yen each) for the whole day. The owner personally informed us about each of the features on the property and was kind enough to give us a ride back to Kawaguchico station before our bus left.
The location is good, in a residential area not too far from a pretty area of the lake, 7 min walk from 7/11 and some of the most local restaurants I've been to (the owner will inform you about them when you get there).
Overall, the attention to detail and making us feel welcome was fantastic- I'd stay here again!

The location was phenomenal, just a 4 minute walk from Kawaguchiko station, which was the main transportation hub in Fujikawaguchiko. Our room was listed as having a view of mount Fuji, and it did not disappoint! The sacred mountain looked as fantastic as ever, and it honestly felt like living in a peaceful mountain town home. The facilities were great and conveniently accessible, and breakfast was ready for our room each morning in the kitchen area. The hosts were incredibly accommodating for luggage storage, they also gave us a parting gift as we checked out. I would come back in a heartbeat if I were staying in Fujikawaguchiko.

We had such a wonderful stay at Link House! It's a beautiful property with a great host. Yumiko was very welcoming and kind, gave great recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed.
The house is also in walking distance from some very nice sights.
We can highly recommend to stay here.
A bonus was that we woke up with views of Mt Fuji on our last day.
Thank you Yumiko for an unforgettable experience!
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
