. The location is beautiful and quiet- the perfect escape and place to recover after spending a week in tokyo. I loved the numerous Onsens, the walking trails nearby, the river, etc. I hope that if I ever come back to Japan, I’ll stay here again

They don't have an elevator, and I traveled from the US carrying 29-inch luggage. The room was on the third floor, and I was worrying about carrying the luggage. The staff there was super nice, offering to carry the luggage up for me and down when I checked out. I'm really satisfied with the service they provided. The location was great; it's next to multiple famous restaurants and desserts. Close to the Sakura street and beach. Service is the best.

We had a wonderful stay at this coffee shop-styled house. The nostalgic decor and spacious tatami-floored bedrooms created a cozy and unique atmosphere. Our kids enjoyed the toys and books provided by the host, which kept them entertained. The location is excellent, within walking distance of popular attractions like Shuzenji and the bamboo path. We would definitely book this place again if we have the chance to visit Izu again in the future.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
We had a great stay at this hostel. The view of the harbour from the room was magnificent and the room was comfortable and bright. There is a cafe/bar at the reception which serves very good coffee. Highly recommended!
The house is wonderful! We really enjoyed staying here. The historic house is newly and carefully renovated. The rooms are super clean and very quiet. The beds/futons were also very comfortable. There is a lot of green around the village.
The relaxed village itself is definitely worth a visit. You have a great view of Fujisan and beautiful nature.
The family welcomed us warmly and took care that there is everything needed.
We definitely recommend staying at this house.
A very lovely guesthouse in a beautiful little harbor town. They have the option for a very nice breakfast.
Commonroom/bar/cafe is spacious and well kept.
Terumi-san is a wonderful host who called a dozen bike shops to help me find the right spare part that would allow me to continue my cycling journey. I was amazed she would do that for me. I loved the guest house too, traditional style tatami room, all facilities a solo teaveller needs too, quiet neighbourhood and supermarket nearby.
Great little hostel. Amazing view of harbour from the room. All facilities were clean and the bed is so comfy! Staff are welcoming and friendly! Cafe downstairs is good. Wifi is good. Overall a great hostel
The house was an older japanese style house, which was really charming. Even though the house is older, the bathroom and toilets etc were modern and new. The house was also equipped with smart TV and access to many streaming services. The host was very helpful and gave us a lot of useful tips.
